From the start of the week the weather forecast for today had been centred around rain, more rain and even more rain.
Unfortunately the forecast was accurate with rain arriving in the early hours and continuing throughout the morning. So with no flying taking place it was on with ground school briefings.

After lunch the Club simulator was brought into use providing virtual flights under much nice skies than those actually above North Hill.

Mid-afternoon the rain had stopped but high humidity meant one could not see very far across/above the airfield so the decision was made to end the day. - Mike Sloggett
