Only a limited number of members were in the Clubhouse first thing, perhaps some put off by the forecast wind strength? However, with just enough people to run the airfield, the toys were taken out of the hangar, and the winch and LPV were set up.
The first launch was taken at 10:40 by James Flory, with booked training Mark Wallis for check flights. John Pursey took Dan Hender up in the blustery conditions, which made Dan’s day having been on the airfield all week with no air time!! Ruth Comer, Simon Leeson, and Andrew Logan (in FMS) all followed in the challenging conditions. John Pursey managed the longest flight solo at 74mins.

In the afternoon it was a welcome back to Richard Davies who was DLM. Kevin Smith had his booked sessions with James Flory. Glenn Turpin and Lisa Humphries flew together for currency flights.
Dave Weeks had the last flight of the day with Glenn which meant, everyone who wanted to, got into the air.
