Wed 2nd September

Despite the poor forecast, most of the usual Wednesday regulars turned up, all the ground equipment was out early but the gliders were left in the hangar due to to the expected rain and low cloud during the morning.

The rain didn't arrive so we started to fly about midday, the wind was a fresh South westerly so we had good high launches and extended circuits.

 We had both K21s and a Junior in use and James Smart was flying his ASW19, most club members flew before the afternoon rains arrived, whilst we were stacking the hanger LRD was placed at the back of the hangar as requested for the trim mechanism repair.  - John Street.
