Not too many turned up first thing, but the airfield was set up and fortunately everyone who turned up was experienced and willing to muck in, so with limited numbers we still managed to run efficiently.
Alan Turner took the first launch at 10.01am so just missed the reduced rates! He was welcomed back with some tricky simulated cable breaks, but was then happily cleared to take the Junior solo. Adam Niemczyk enjoyed his booked training, and several private owners took advantage of the improving conditions. Emma Kendall popped in for a passing visit, and we managed to get her airborne too, much to her delight.

Cracking afternoon (Stuart Procter) |
Afternoon flying continued with John Borland successfully completing his card checks. and some local soaring for many including some private owners.
Thank you to all who supported on the field, but didn’t manage to fly, it’s much appreciated. With very limited numbers we packed up the equipment and gliders at just gone 5pm.
