New month - new weather? but not for the better.....
John Alcroft turned up early ready to pitch his tent, but then changed his mind having looked at the weather forecast, and decided to get the kit out, before Richard even!
It was a good call though as we dispensed with the formal Course welcome to get a few flights in before the rain arrived. Everyone flew and some had two flights with good high launches in the strengthening south westerly wind.
The rain turned up on schedule just after 11:00am.
The rest of the day was spent discussing winch launches and launch failures, alongside some winching, and spin practice in the simulator, which proved to be a real hit with the Course members and Instructors, proving its worth already. - J&P
