Yesterday and today were both scrubbed due to top cover and light winds
- meaning limited soaring.
However today, we flew anyway launching up to
the north towards the good Cumulus.

There was evidently wave effects but we
couldn't get into it, on the way home we had to start the engine over
Balmoral (One of Queen Liz's many homes).

At this point the engine
decided not to start... Our field was actually her back garden, as we
were flying overhead, she was entering her helicopter to leave... She
gave us a very perplexed look as we eventually found the fault and got
the engine going overhead (we might receive an interesting call from the
police...).

After that we ran the Dee valley ridge line home at VNE
