No flying today, due to the thundery showers, but in the evening we celebrated the life of an aviator....
A lovely evening was spent by many members at the club in remembrance of
Ernie. Luckily the weather was kind and everyone enjoyed the hog roast, ice creams and refreshments provided by Ernie's son and daughter-in-law, Dominic and
Alison.

There was a collection and the
family will be liaising with the Committee as to purchasing something
for the Club in his memory.
Thanks to Mark C for lending the family his caravan for the evening, it was much appreciated.
